Pupils receive wrong GL Assessment Results

Over 30 P7 pupils received the wrong results on Saturday the Belfast Telegraph and the BBC News have reported.

It was reported that all of the children affected had taken the GL Assessment at Rainey Endowed School in Magherafelt. The vast majority had their grades increased although unfortunately some had theirs lowered. The mistake has been blamed on a technical fault. Some pupils received incorrect marks, while other letters included the wrong date-of-birth and gender.

Parents worried about their child's results should contact the Grammar School (Assessment Centre) where the child sat the GL Assessment.
