The chief executive of the Association of Quality Education (AQE) has said a single transfer test will not be possible for "at least three years" the BBC have reported.

The DUP’s new Education Minister Peter Weir has told the News Letter he will look at ways to make the use of academic selection across Northern Ireland easier for pupils, parents and schools.

PPTC GL Assessment

Registration forms are now available for parents to register their child for the PPTC's GL Assessment.

Registration Packs are available from PPTC Assessment Centres or their websites, the PPTC website, or links are on our PPTC (GL Assessment) page.

The closing date for registration is 2pm on Friday the 23rd of September 2016.


Registration for the AQE's Common Entrance Assessment (CEA) opens today.
If you wish for your child to sit the AQE's Common Entrance Assessment (CEA) you must register them before the closing date using a 2016-17 AQE Registration Form.

You can download the Registration Form from the AQE website, from an AQE Grammar School or from the AQE Office. Some Primary Schools may also be able to give you a form.

The 2015 intake information for Northern Ireland Grammar Schools requiring either the AQE or the GL Assessment have been published by the Belfast Telegraph. They have also been added to our Schools Intake Information page.
